Our Trip

From May 8th-30th, 2023, we will be embarking on a 23-day study abroad adventure to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and France! You will register for two participating courses from across disciplines (details coming soon). The estimated program cost is $6,000, based on the number of adventurers (the more, the cheaper) and the cost of the flights (booked 6 months in advance).

​This program includes:

• Round-trip flight
• Hotel accommodations
• Transportation within the cities (e.g., Metro pass) for the duration of our stay in that city
• Transportation between cities (e.g., train)
• Entrance fees for all planned activities (see the Itinerary below)
• Guided tours by local experts
• A local coordinator guiding us through the program
• Two faculty guides (Dr. Stephanie Welsh and Dr. Nathan West)
• One non-faculty adult guide (Dr. Welsh’s husband) for extra support
• Breakfast every day
• Welcome and Farewell dinners
• 6 Carson-Newman University credits
