  Dr. Hartsock joined the faculty at Carson-Newman in 2008. He teaches primarily New Testament courses including the Parables of Jesus and Luke-Acts, along with Greek and Theological Research. Dr. Hartsock has served as a youth minister in various churches for ten years, and has served numerous churches in East Tennessee as a supply preacher. His wife, Ami, is also a CN graduate and works in the CN library. Their daughter, Kaylin, was born in March of 2011. Dr. Hartsock also officiates high school athletics in the East Tennessee region.
