Built on the Christian liberal arts core, Carson-Newman equips students through the power of film and digital media. Students and faculty are raising important issues that call for thoughtful responses. With a passion for storytelling, we’re exploring all the facets of the stories we bring forward, asking critical questions about some of the most challenging issues in our world.
The Carson-Newman Studio offers a large multiple-camera production facility with a separate control room. The studio is used for student film and television productions and for the PBS series, Tennessee Filmmaker, produced by Carson-Newman graduate and award-winning documentary filmmaker, Keith McDaniel.
