category: Campus News Campus community invited to Oct. 9 Student Success Open House and Cookout category: Campus News | October 6, 2014 (Oct. 6, 2014) –Carson-Newman’s Student Success Center is hosting a Student Success Open House and Cookout on Thursday, Oct. 9. The campus community is invited to come hang out at the grills stationed on the lawn outside of Maples Cafe from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Along with free hotdogs and drinks, students will have the opportunity to sign up for drawings for prizes. During the day, Student Success, formally known as Life Directions Center, invites students to visit the new Student Success Center located one floor up in the library. Students can check out the many services offered through the Center from study groups and tutoring opportunities to scheduling rooms for group study and presentation practice. The Student Success Open House and Cookout is sponsored by 21st Mortgage of Knoxville.
