Carson-Newman is a short 50-minute drive from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the most visited National Park in the United States. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have multiple museums and amusement parks to offer. Downtown Knoxville is an hour away, historic Chattanooga is a two-hour drive away and Atlanta, Georgia, home of the CNN and Coca-Cola museums, is a four-hour drive away. Transportation to these off-campus excursions will be arranged by the Center for Global Education and the costs for the trips will be included in the final total for the camp.

KNOXVILLE

The bustling city of Knoxville is just 30 minutes away from campus!

PIGEON FORGE & GATLINBURG

Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are two of the most visited cities in the state of Tennessee. From multiple shopping malls and museums to Dollywood and Splash Country, both cities have much to offer!

CHATTANOOGA

The historic and beautiful city of Chattanooga, Tennessee, is located just two hours south of campus! Chattanooga is home to Rock City, Ruby Falls, Tennessee Aquarium and incredible downtown life.

ATLANTA

One of the largest cities in the United States, Atlanta, Georgia, is just four hours away from campus! Atlanta is home to several national sports teams, CNN, Coca-Cola and is the capital city of Georgia.
