(May 7, 2014)– This month Carson-Newman University Dining Services/ Aramark introduced a new campus convenience store concept, Provisions on Demand (P.O.D.) Express, which meets the demand of students looking for fresh, healthy and convenient grab ‘n go dining options.

The new addition, located in the University’s Maddox Student Activities Center, combines the corner store with the style of a modern kiosk, featuring grab ‘n go dining options for breakfast, lunch or any time of day, including:  freshly-prepared breakfast sandwiches, wraps, and salads, as well as snacks, bottled beverage and f’real milkshake selections as well as traditional essentials found in a convenience store.

“Our research found that students were looking for fresh prepared foods and everyday essentials in one convenient location on campus,” said Katie Nelson, Aramark senior district marketing.  “Our goal was to develop a highly-customized solution that delivers quality, convenience, variety and value.”
