From Mossy Creek to present day Jefferson City, the work weaves a pictorial history of the area and its residents. “We hope that our book will bring back wonderful memories of past days in Jefferson City and the wonderful people who helped make it such a special place to live,” said Lang, who serves as Carson-Newman’s Special Collections librarian and archivist. Gass serves as archives assistant at the University. The release is the second book for the authors, as they released “Carson-Newman College” last year.
