University records largest spring enrollment

(Jan 26, 2016) – Carson-Newman University begins 2016 with its largest spring enrollment ever – 2,452 students. Along with overall record spring numbers, the University also posted its all-time largest graduate enrollment, welcoming 808 students into graduate programs.

“We are incredibly pleased with this news,” said Dr. Paul Percy, Carson-Newman University provost. “Our graduate programs continue to grow and build momentum, while our proven, strong undergraduate teaching continues to garner national attention. We are truly excited about what the future holds.”

Since spring 2011, Carson-Newman has recorded 10 consecutive semesters of increased enrollment among its graduate students.

Last fall the University recorded its largest total enrollment ever, marking consecutive years for such historic numbers.
