category: Campus News University honors those announcing retirement category: Campus News | May 7, 2015 (Dec. 11, 2018) – On Tuesday, December 11, Carson-Newman held a special reception for those retiring from the University at the end of the year. The event was held in C-N’s Stokely Memorial Cafeteria. The group of four has a combined 81 years of service to the University. Pictured left to right are: President J. Randall O’Brien, 10 years; Dr. Carolyn Brewer, associate professor of counseling, 11 years; Sue McBee, associate professor of nursing, 24 years; and Becky Boatright, human resources coordinator, 36 years.
