Carson-Newman’s nursing program was cited by The Princeton Review in their “2024 Best Online Nursing School Master’s Program” list. Carson-Newman University’s online Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner program (MSN-FNP) is one of the best in the in the nation according to The Princeton Review’s 2024 listing. Carson-Newman was one of only five institutions in Tennessee to make the “Best Online Nursing School Master’s Program” list. “It is always an honor to have our programs and faculty recognized,” said Dr. Lana Spence, dean of Carson-Newman’s School of Health Sciences. “We are passionate about empowering our students with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide clinically excellent and compassionate care, advance the profession, and advocate for changes to better meet the healthcare needs of their communities. Preparing students to face real-world challenges through a Christ-centered education is not only rewarding for our faculty, but truly benefits those we serve.” Carson-Newman’s MSN-FNP program is designed for nurses looking to advance their education and careers. Graduates are prepared with the skills necessary to be holistic and confident family nurse practitioners or advanced practice nurses. The online program allows students a flexible schedule that supports work-life balance. Committed to investing in the future of health sciences, last year Carson-Newman opened the new Drama and Ted Russell Center, becoming the University’s newest academic building and the state-of-the-art home to C-N’s nursing program.
