Uwe Romeike

Staff Accompanist

Uwe Romeike is a staff accompanist at Carson-Newman University, private piano instructor, and serves as pianist at First Baptist Church in Morristown, Tennessee.  Mr. Romeike started playing the piano as a nine-year-old, presenting his first recital at 18.  He studied the piano with Prof. W. Wagenhäuser and earned degrees in piano teaching and performance at Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Trossingen (Germany), where he also taught before moving to the United States.  His numerous performances across East Tennessee include recitals at various churches, theatre productions at Walters State Community College and the Tennessee Theatre, and a standing room only concert at the Rose Center.
