Niles Reddick

Professor of English, Creative Writing

Niles Reddick is author of a novel Drifting too far from the Shore, four fiction collections Who’s Going to Pray for Me Now?, If Not for You, Reading the Coffee Grounds, and Road Kill Art and Other Oddities, and two novellas Forgiven and Lead Me Home. His work has been featured in twenty-one anthologies or collections and in over five hundred publications including The Saturday Evening Post (ranking him among the Top Ten Most Popular New Fiction of 2019), New Reader Magazine, Forth Magazine, Brilliant Flash Fiction, Flash Fiction Magazine, Citron Review, Hong Kong Review, and Vestal Review (the longest running flash fiction magazine in the world), among many others. 

Reddick is a regular reader for Flash Bomb in New York, Flash Fiction Forum in California, and the Pat Conroy Literary Center in South Carolina. 

Niles Reddick holds a BA from Valdosta State University, an MA from the University of West Georgia, and a Ph.D. from Florida State University.
