Lisa Connor

Associate Professor of Family & Consumer Sciences

Dr. Connor teaches Human Development through the Lifespan, Infancy and Early Childhood, Family Relationships, Current Topics in CFS, Parenting, and other CFS courses.

Dr. Connor’s research interests include language development and self-regulated learning in young children from economically-disadvantaged backgrounds. She is particularly interested in how children use different types of speech to control their own behavior and cognition.
