Kyle Biery

Kyle Biery has been on faculty with Carson-Newman since 2008 and serves as the theatre program coordinator. While his primary work as a professional artist lies in set and lighting design, his focus as an artist is to be fully engaged in the collaborative process so as to seamlessly integrate all the elements of a production. Directing credits include The Crucible, Big River, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged), Godspell, My Fair Lady, The Grapes of Wrath, No Exit, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Miracle Worker. Kyle has also worked as a designer and technical director for productions with the Greensboro Children’s Theatre, The Community Theatre of Greensboro, UNCG Summer Repertory Company, Actor’s COOP, Struther’s Library Theatre, and Encore Theatrical Company, of which he is a founding company member.
