Beth Vanlandingham

James F. Ellis Professor of History

Dr Vanlandingham as been teaching at Carson-Newman since the early 1990’s. She teaches World and US History in the Liberal Arts Core and teaches a variety of upper division history courses including the history of China and Japan. She also teaches specialized American history courses on the Civil Rights Movement, Native American history and culture, and women’s history. She enjoys working with students in the Senior Seminar to hone their research, writing, and presentation skills.
