His area of expertise is New Testament and Second Temple Judaism. He teaches New Testament courses and the Greek language. In addition to teaching, he publishes regularly and serves in various capacities within the academic community. He is an active church member who has taught and preached within many different contexts. He is married to Holly and they have one daughter. He enjoys reading, photography, stained glass, baking, and spending time with his family.
