Lugo Named Sloan Scholar

Michael Lugo has been selected to receive the Albert R. Sloan scholarship for school year 2012-13. The scholarship honors the memory of the late Albert R. Sloan, professor of mathematics and treasurer of the college from 1936 to 1976. His son, Joe Bill Sloan, professor emeritus of political science and interim president of the college, served from 1969 to his retirement in 2010.
