C-N community prepares for Operation Inasmuch 2013

VIDEO: Check out this video that looks back on Operation Inasmuch 2012.

Carson-Newman University prepares for its 8th annual Operation Inasmuch day of service, Saturday, Oct. 12. To join others in giving back to the community, register here.

Since becoming the first college or university to host an Operation Inasmuch event in 2006, Carson-Newman University has established an annual Day of Service. The event sends teams of Carson-Newman students, faculty and staff throughout the region on outreach projects that include painting, cleaning, landscaping and other work as a way to “give back” to the community. Operation Inasmuch gets its name from the Gospel of Mathew 25:40 where Jesus says “Inasmuch as you serve the least of these, you serve me.”

The event is coordinated through Carson-Newman University’s Bonner Center.
