category: Campus News A Friend Indeed category: Campus News | November 11, 2011 A Friend Indeed — Dr. Clark Measels Friends of Music coordinator, and Dr. Jeremy Buckner, music department chair, flank Charlotte and Wade Johnson, close friends of the late Nancy Jane Blair. The late alumna’s generosity to the department provided some $500,000 in instruments and teaching technologies. The gifts were dedicated with a concert, and a plaque memorializing Blair was added to a display in Tarr Music Center.
