Carson-Newman celebrates first-generation college students

Carson-Newman University celebrated first-generation college students during its 2025 Tri-Alpha national honor society induction on April 8. The Delta Psi chapter inducted 25 new student members along with four faculty and staff members. Tri-Alpha is a first-generation honor society which honors the academic achievements of first-generation students, faculty and staff. The event was held in the University’s Thomas Recital Hall.
