(March 2, 2016) – Members of the Carson-Newman University community gathered for its annual SPOTS mission trips commissioning service on March 1. Teams composed of students, faculty and staff will spend spring break serving on mission trips in four states and two foreign countries. From visiting with youth at Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home in Chattanooga and serving with Operation Christmas Child in Boone, North Carolina, to sharing the love of Christ with those in Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic, teams will take part in what has become a decades-old Carson-Newman tradition.
