University hosts FCCLA competition for fifth year

(March 2, 2016) – Carson-Newman University hosted the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Districts 8 and 9 STAR competition on March 2. Over 200 students from 19 area high schools were represented. It is the fifth consecutive year Carson-Newman has hosted the event. Competitions include all areas of family and consumer sciences, highlighting projects and activities occurring at schools and in communities.
