University’s First Couple visits Child Development Lab

(Oct. 6, 2015) – Carson-Newman President Randall O’Brien and his wife, Kay, visit with children at the University’s Child Development Lab on September 30. Along with playing with the children, the couple read “Bear Wants More” to the class. Carson-Newman’s Child Development Lab is one of the most in-demand early childhood education programs in the area. The program provides a number of children activities and experiences. Earlier this month the class visited the Jefferson City Fire Department as part of a study of safety officers.
