University to host Black and Parker in concert, Sept. 13

(Sept. 6, 2016) – Musical duo Laurel Black and Marianne Parker, will be in concert at Carson-Newman University Sept. 13, 2016.

Described as a marimba and piano duo, the two are in their debut tour and will present works by Vinao, Spencer, Stockhausen and Still.

The 5:30 p.m. event, which is free and open to the public, will be held in Thomas Recital Hall located the University’s Tarr Music Center.
