Carson-Newman University is a NCAA Division II school that competes at a high level in the South Atlantic Conference. With more than 20 teams, six national championships, 106 combined SAC championships and more than 220 All-Americans, C-N senior offensive lineman Jesse West gives a brief glimpse into what makes athletics a special part of the Carson-Newman experience!

Our highly-acclaimed Nursing Department is one of the best in the Southeast! More than 95% of our nursing students pass the NCLEX on the first attempt and are guaranteed to make a lasting and even life-saving impact on the patients they encounter! Like many first-generation students, Antwon questioned his future but his journey in the C-N nursing program has been incredible and reaffirmed his decision!

The Family and Consumer Sciences Department is housed in Blye-Poteat Hall and the adjacent Child Development Laboratory, both featuring state-of-the-art technology allowing our graduates to compete for the best jobs in the careers of their choice!
