Those receiving tenure and a promotion are (front, l-r) Lisa Ellis, to associate professor of art; Dr. Bethany White, to associate professor of English; Dr. Heather Whaley; to associate professor of family & consumer sciences; and Dr. Michael Shipe, to associate professor of exercise science. Those being promoted are (back, l-r) Dr. Cynthia Lynn, to associate professor of nursing; Dr. Nicole Drewitz-Crockett, to assistant professor of English; Dr. Kip Wheeler, to associate professor of English; Dr. Bob Trentham, to professor of biology; Dr. Brian Austin, to professor of philosophy.
