category: Campus News Public invited to evening of music to benefit students, Sept. 27 category: Campus News | September 19, 2016 (Sept. 19, 2016) – Carson-Newman University’s Pi Kappa Lambda music honor society will present a faculty showcase recital, Sept. 27. The 7:30 p.m. event will be held in the University’s Thomas Recital Hall and offer the public an evening of musical highlights. Performers will include pianists, vocalists and instrumentalists on faculty. The event is $5 for adults and $3 for students with all proceeds going to benefit students through the Pi Kappa Lambda Scholarship Fund. Thomas Recital Hall is located in the Tarr Music Center on campus.
