Presidential Search Update – Oct. 2018

  • Harry Brooks, Chairman of The Board of Trustees, announced the members of the Presidential Search Committee to the Carson-Newman community and various media outlets in mid-August 2018.
  • The Presidential Search committee met in early September to develop guidelines and a framework for the search process. Each member of the committee signed an agreement of confidentiality and responsibility ensuring the privacy of candidates and the integrity of the process.
  • At the October meeting the committee devoted significant time to the development and functionality of the Presidential Search Website which will launch in late October. The Chair shared reports of various meetings and listening sessions with constituent groups.
