Prayer Walk and Welcome Ceremony Begin Year for Freshman Families

The traditional start of the freshman year opened Saturday evening with a prayer walk and a welcome ceremony at FBC Jefferson City. This year’s prayer walk began at Henderson Hall at the center of campus and proceeded to First Baptist Church.  The welcome and walk was led by Dr. and Mrs. Randall O’Brien, president and first lady; the opening prayer of dedication was given by Patsy Wallace, C-N trustee. Parents and first year students walked along a path lined with faculty, staff and students to First Baptist Church of Jefferson City for the Welcome Ceremony.  Below is a video clip from the event.
