Post Office

The Carson-Newman Post Office is located in the Maddox Student Activity Center near the Eagles Nest and the University Bookstore. Our Window hours for campus are 8 AM-4:30 PM Monday-Friday including summer.

Important Information

All mail and packages to C-N students should be addressed as follows:

We can only ship out packages via UPS unless there is already a shipping sticker of the package.
Mail is received at approximately 8:15 – 8:30 a.m. Monday – Friday. UPS, DHL, and FEDEX normally deliver and pick up between 11:00AM and 1:00PM, Monday – Friday.
If you receive an orange slip in your box, you have received a parcel that is too large to fit in your box. Please bring it to the window and a worker will be happy to get your package for you.
The C-N Post Office forwards mail after graduation or withdrawal if a forwarding address is provided to us. First Class mail will be forwarded for 60 days; all other mail will be forwarded for 30 days. It is the student’s responsibility to leave a forwarding address. If they do not, we will close their box and RTS (return to sender) all first class mail.
You are required to maintain your box as long as you are a student of C-N. During the semester your box is where you receive important information, such as flyers for upcoming events and when the time comes graduation information.
