Homecoming 2022 Schedule

Cool, crisp East Tennessee air mixed with trees dressed in orange and yellow are setting the stage for Homecoming 2022. Mossy Creek is rolling out the welcome mat. Below is a complete run down of Homecoming events. Carson-Newman Evermore!

Monday, Oct. 31
6–8 p.m.: Homecoming Campfire kick-off at Float Building Tent

Tuesday, Nov. 1
9:30–10:15 a.m.: Alumni Awards at First Baptist Church Jefferson City
11:30–1:30 p.m.: Alumni Awards luncheon in the small cafeteria

Thursday, Nov. 3
9:30–10:15 a.m.: Founders’ Celebration Ceremony at First Baptist Church Jefferson City
11:30–1:30 pm: Founders’ Celebration luncheon in the small cafeteria

Friday, Nov. 4
10 a.m.–Noon: Class of 1972 Reunion Check-In (Chitwood Alumni Center)
1–3 p.m.: Welcome Back to the Creek Reception at Swann Hall
4–4:45 p.m.: Henrietta Jenkins Memorial Homecoming Poetry Reading (Thomas Recital Hall)
5–6 p.m.: Sunset Memorial Ceremony (Chitwood Alumni Center Lawn)
6:15 p.m.: Class of 1972 Reunion picture
6:30–9 p.m.: Class of 1972 Reunion Dinner (Stokely Memorial Cafeteria- Small Dining Room)

Saturday, Nov. 5

8–10 a.m.: Alumni Pancake Breakfast (Stokely Memorial Cafeteria)
9–11 a.m.: Alumni Check-In (Henderson Lawn)
10–11 a.m.: Music Sampler at First Baptist Church Jefferson City
10–2 p.m.: Warren Art Gallery Exhibition
10:30–2 p.m.: Saint John’s Bible Exhibit
11–Noon: Retiree Event (Maddox Student Activities Center lounge)
11–1:30 p.m.: Department Open Houses and activities (Henderson Lawn)
11–1:30 p.m.: 45th Reunion (Swann Porch)
Noon–1 p.m.: 30th Reunion (Swann Parlor)
Noon–1:30 p.m.: 40th Reunion (Henderson Lawn tent)
12:30–1:30 p.m.: Founders Society Luncheon (Stokely Memorial Cafeteria)
1:45–3 p.m.: 1956 Reunion (Maddox Student Activities Center lounge)
2–2:30 p.m.: Parade
3 p.m.: Football Game
