Appalachian Ministry of the Smokies (AMOS) was formed in 1984, and since then has completed more than 1,000 home repair projects, distributed innumerable tons of food and clothes and helped shelter those in need throughout Jefferson County and the surrounding area. AMOS and the Samaritan House Family Ministries are volunteer based and depend on your support.
