(Aug. 28, 2018) JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman University’s Dr. Ryan Fogg will present a solo piano recital on Thursday, Sept. 6, at 7:30 p.m. in Thomas Recital Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

The program will feature a set of variations by Czerny, the Schumann Fantasy, the Bach-Busoni Chaconne and the well-known Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin.

The recital will mark Fogg’s 11th solo program since joining Carson-Newman’s faculty in 2006. He will also perform the program at universities in Tennessee and Georgia later in September.

Fogg is a native Texan and holds degrees in piano performance from the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Houston, and East Texas Baptist University.
