    The 2024 Henrietta Jenkins Poetry Reading will feature Catherine Pritchard Childress.  Childress is the author of two collections: Outside the Frame (2023) and Other (2015).  She is Director of the Stephenson Center for Appalachian and Comparative Highland Studies at Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, North Carolina, where she also teaches courses in Appalachian literature and creative writing.  Childress earned […]
