Marching Band Leadership Camp

Welcome to our Marching Band Leadership Camp! Tailored for band members eager to enhance their leadership skills, this workshop is ideal for section leaders, band officers, and any band or guard member aiming to lead. Participants will delve into a comprehensive curriculum covering key aspects of leadership:

Roles and expectations of student leaders
Enhancing musicianship and communication with band directors
Personal strength development
Fundamentals of teaching in the band room and on the field
Goal-setting
Traits of being prepared, dependable and responsible
Boosting self-esteem and confidence
Acquiring motivational and people-management skills
The power of a positive, enthusiastic attitude
Foundational values of integrity and honesty in leadership

Our interactive classroom setting includes role-playing, skits, and group discussions, allowing students to exchange ideas and learn from the experiences of their peers and other successful programs. Join us to gain insights and tools to become an effective student leader in your band community!

Overnight Participant Fee

Early Bird: $300 (until May 10^th)
Regular Fee: $350 (starting May 11^th)
Includes 3 nights lodging, meals, and instruction

Daily Participant Fee

Early Bird: $200 (until May 10^th)
Regular Fee: $250 (starting May 11^th)
Includes instruction and 3 meals a day

• Wednesday, June 12 – Classes, 8:00-11:30am, 1:00-2:00pm

• Wednesday, June 12 – Final Camp Performance & Awards Ceremony at 3:00pm
