The University will hold the year’s first Showcase this Saturday. Click here to register for Showcase Saturday. (Feb. 17, 2014) – Carson-Newman University is hosting Showcase Saturday on Feb. 22. The event welcomes high school and transfer students who are interested in Carson-Newman. Jann Walker, associate director of admissions, says the event really has a lot to offer anyone considering Carson-Newman. “This is one of our highlights of the year,” says Walker. “Whether it’s getting to meet professors, ask questions, or get a feel for campus, Showcase is really a great event for students considering Carson-Newman.” Events planned throughout the day include meeting professors, campus tours, complimentary lunch in Stokely Memorial Cafeteria, and tickets to see the Carson-Newman Eagles square-off against Queens University.
