Additionally, Carson-Newman remains the state’s highest-ranked private school in the “Best Online MBA Program” category. The 2021 Best Online Programs rankings, released today, placed C-N’s online graduate education program as No. 1 in the state and #126 in the nation. “Our Carson-Newman graduates are often recognized as the best educators in the state, so this top ranking is just another excellent affirmation that our faculty are preparing students to fulfill their full potential,” said University President Charles A. Fowler. “Our Christian faculty work to support our students spiritually, emotionally and academically so that they have the best possible experience as they obtain their degrees.” C-N designed the graduate education program with full-time, working educators in mind. This means students are able to take one course at a time in a user-friendly, online format. “The goal is not only to meet course objectives but to improve student learning outcomes,” said Kim Hawkins, dean of Carson-Newman’s School of Education and Counseling. “When this goal is achieved, it is a huge win for everyone!” U.S. News’ 2021 rankings also names C-N among the “Best Online Master’s in Nursing Programs.” The publication’s ranking methodology includes the areas of engagement, expert opinion, faculty credentials, student excellence, and student services and technologies.
