Carson-Newman a “Best in the South” says The Princeton Review

A C-N nursing student gets hands-on experience in one of the University’s nursing labs. Student experience was factored into data that led The Princeton Review to list Carson-Newman as a “Best in the South” in its 2026 college listings.

Carson-Newman University is a “Best in the South” according to The Princeton Review. The accolade is part of the organization’s “2026 Best Colleges: Region by Region” listing. Carson-Newman is “academically outstanding and well worth consideration in your college search,” says the company, which indicates that its listings are uniquely based on data compiled from current students.

This fall, Carson-Newman is celebrating a record enrollment of 2,922 with students representing 44 states and 49 countries.
