C-N hosts Summer Music Camp

Carson-Newman hosted over 100 students this week for its Summer Music Camp. Ranging from elementary to high school levels, camp participants traveled to C-N from as far away as Kwajalein Atoll, some 7,000 miles from campus. Camp offerings included study in band, piano and vocal. Sponsored by the Music Department, the week-long camp was overseen by C-N’s Pat Bivens, who served as the camp’s executive director, while 2000 alumnus Mathew McCurry served as director of operations.
