Bonner Center holds The Summer Leadership Institute

Carson-Newman’s Bonner Center for Service Learning and Civic Engagement hosted some 350 conference participants June 4-7 for the Bonner Foundation’s Summer Leadership Institute. The Summer Leadership Institute (SLI) offered participants educational and professional development opportunities to bolster the quality and effectiveness of campus-based service efforts. Program sessions featured the theme of outreach to community agency partnerships as well as Bonner’s High-Impact Engagement Initiative and its international partnerships.
