Carson-Newman alumnus Brooks honored by Tennessee Independent Colleges and Universities Association

A Well-Deserved Honor!

Carson-Newman President Randall O’Brien (left) and his wife Kay (right) recently congratulated Representative Harry Brooks and his wife Mary during a Tennessee Independent Colleges and Universities Association (TICUA) event in Nashville. Both are 1968 C-N alums.

Rep. Brooks (R- Knoxville) was honored with the organization’s Harold Bradley Legislative Leadership Award for distinguished support for higher education. Brooks is a longstanding TICUA supporter.
