(Feb. 10, 2014) – Carson-Newman University’s Les Amies recently held its February meeting on campus. The morning event featured a presentation about Carson-Newman’s Bonner program. Bonner Center Director Chad Williams discussed the purpose of the service-minded program as well as the difference between social justice and charity.

For over three decades, Les Amies has served as a connection between Carson-Newman and the Jefferson City community. The women’s group annually awards the Brona Maddox Les Amies Scholarship to a female student from Jefferson County.
