Educational Consultant Internship

Established in 1855, Southwestern Advantage is the oldest entrepreneurial program in the world for university students. Our program has given hundreds of thousands of participants the opportunity to graduate debt-free with transferable personal and professional skills. Student Reps spend their summers being personally coached on how to build their own small businesses in a new part of the country, visiting with families face-to-face, showing educational apps, websites, and books.

After their first summer, students that demonstrate leadership qualities are given the opportunity to gain the experience of leading teams and organizations. Often, Student Reps use their undergrad experience with Southwestern Advantage to move into professional sales management within the company after graduation, while many others are offered career positions within one of our 14 sister-companies that serve a variety of industries (finance, consulting, fundraising, real estate, travel and more).

Southwestern Advantage was rated as the top internship/cooperative education employer in the nation for 2019 by CEIA, the national leader in cooperative education and internship program management. This follows a prestigious group of past winners including IBM, NASA, Walt Disney, AT&T, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Bloomingdale’s, Ford, and General Motors.
