Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach

Time Requirements: Full-Time ​​​

Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversee Graduate Assistants for Men’s Soccer and oversee a Men’s soccer roster of 26 players every year.​  

Summary Description: Assist directing all aspects of Men’s Soccer Program.  Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Soccer Programs (practice, recruiting, budgeting, fundraising, retention etc.) Oversee Graduate Assistants for Men’s Soccer and oversee a Men’s soccer roster of 26 players every year. 

Essential Functions

• As an intentionally Christian academic community, Christian employees are hired to advance the mission of Carson-Newman as expressed in our strategic plan,Acorns to Oaks.

• Assist directing all aspects of Men’s Soccer Program.  

• Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Soccer Programs (practice, recruiting, budgeting, fundraising, retention etc.)

• Oversee Graduate Assistants for Men’s Soccer and oversee a Men’s soccer roster of 26 players every year.

Education:  bachelor’s degree required but master’s degree preferred

Experience:   3+ Years of collegiate coaching experience preferred

Required Skills: Ability to be hands on and demonstrate necessary skill sets needed to play the game of soccer at the collegiate level.
