Carson-Newman’s hoops doubleheader versus LMU set for local television broadcast

(Jan. 12, 2018) – For the second consecutive year, Carson-Newman’s basketball doubleheader with Lincoln Memorial will be televised locally on MyVLT.

The Eagles take on Lincoln Memorial on Wednesday, Jan. 17 inside Holt Fieldhouse. The women’s game tips at 6 p.m., with the men’s game following at 8.

Three of the four teams are nationally ranked for this year’s matchups. Carson-Newman’s women are ranked fourth in the WBCA and D2SIDA media polls while both men’s teams are in the top 20. Carson-Newman’s men are ranked 20th in the media poll while LMU’s men are top 10 in both the NABC and media polls.

Mark Packer will call the action with former Carson-Newman linebacker Eric Cain providing analysis. The game will also be streamed live at: cneagles.com/live.
