(April 20, 2017) – Carson-Newman University’s Stephens-Burnett Memorial Library will hold a book sale Thursday, April 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Held in the facility’s loading bay, located at 1634 Russell Avenue South in Jefferson City, the sale is open to the public. “We will have thousands of books and expect that our customers will find some real gems,” said Lori Thornton, technical services librarian and director of the sale. “Having transitioned many of our reference works to online resources, we will have many volumes that until recently we did not expect to sell. Those who come early will have the best selection.” Prices range from $1 to $5 (reference volumes) and include textbooks from across disciplines, as well as novels, anthologies, biblical commentaries.
