category: Campus News C-N nursing students featured on WBIR Channel 10 category: Campus News | April 23, 2013 C-N’s Keisha Long shares about her experience with Help for the Sole. Carson-Newman nursing students and Dr. Cynthia Lynn were recently featured on Knoxville’s WBIR Channel 10. The group was highlighted for their involvement with Knoxville’s Volunteer Ministries Center and a program called Help for the Sole (Soul). In collaboration with Knoxville’s Cherokee Health Systems, the program targets the homeless population and assists in teaching preventative foot care. Through the effort group is able to minister to the homeless both physically and spiritually. Click here to see video coverage.
