The occasion of dual sabbaticals last fall offer the opportunity for the couple to start the new endeavor and release their first two books. The couple looks to publish a low volume of thoughtful, well-crafted books each year by a variety of authors and other creatives. The Jan. 26 evening will feature the Underwoods as they share how and why they started the new publishing company. Susan and fellow Sapling Grove Press author Dawn Coppock will read from their published works. David will also provide a preview of the forthcoming photography anthology. A book signing will follow. Books will also be available for purchase. Susan is a professor of English at the University, while David serves as professor of art.
