NAfME Collegiate is the Carson-Newman Chapter of the NAfME (The National Association for Music Education.) The purpose of this organization is to provide music education students an opportunity to network with current music educators, have access to music education research available through JRME, Update, and other periodicals produce in association with NAfME, and to participate in regional, state, and national music education conferences.

The purpose of this organization is to promote the advancement of instrumental music education in the schools of Eastern Tennessee, encourage music activities among the schools of Eastern Tennessee through festivals, clinics, and other related events, promote professional growth among it’s members, and provide mutual assistance to its members.
