Counseling Services Mission Statement
Counseling Services’ mission is to support Carson-Newman students in defining and reaching their full God-given potential academically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. We will connect with, care for, and comfort students in a Christian environment to enhance their success and well-being.
Counseling Services will offer C-N students free and confidential individual/couples/group counseling, crisis intervention, educational programs, and referrals to student support services on campus along with referrals to community resources. While providing these services, Counseling Services strives to promote a holistic, nurturing, and spiritual environment to address the developmental needs of C-N students. Each year C-N students seek help to succeed with relationships, stress, sadness, anxiety, adjusting to school and other reasons.
